Sono una dirigente scolastica di Treviso, in pensione, e mi chiamo Cinzia Mion.
A proposito della sovraesposizione mediatica del fatto di Cordignano, (messa negata!), le voglio raccontare due fatti molto significativi accaduti nella diocesi di Treviso e di Vittorio Veneto nei mesi immediatamente successivi alla revisione del Concordato.
Io ero direttrice didattica a Conegliano e insieme ai colleghi, che gestivano i circoli che gravitavano all’interno della diocesi di Vittorio Veneto , presagendo che correvamo il rischio di entrare in conflitto con i parroci dei territori di competenza, se qualche persona molto autorevole non avesse loro spiegato il cambiamento, abbiamo chiesto un appuntamento al Vescovo allora in carica che ci ha ricevuto insieme al Vicario Diocesano. Entrambi hanno rilevato che le nostre preoccupazioni erano fondate e il Vescovo ha mandato subito una lettera pastorale a tutti i parroci, perché prendessero atto delle conseguenze della revisione del Concordato e spiegassero ai loro fedeli che ora nella scuola aveva diritto di cittadinanza la “cultura” religiosa ma non più gli atti di “ culto”. Questi ultimi erano: il segno della croce, le preghiere prima delle lezioni, le benedizioni a Pasqua o comunque durante le cerimonie, le messe durante l’orario scolastico, ecc. La preghiera, è stato chiaramente spiegato, poteva essere analizzata, verso per verso, ma non recitata. Aggiungo che il presepe, che Papa Giovanni Paolo 2° ha definito “atto di fede “, diventa in questo modo un atto di culto, se gli viene affidato il vero significato religioso e simbolico e non viene realizzato semplicemente alla stregua di una decorazione sulle finestre delle scuole con i fiocchi di neve oppure si innalza un abete con i pendagli… Anche durante la lezione facoltativa di religione cattolica (quindi in presenza di alunni che hanno scelto tutti di frequentare questa attività) valgono le stesse regole!
Lei non può non sapere queste regole, perché allora permettere ora che venga forzata la situazione, mettendo in difficoltà la collega di Cordignano, lasciando nell’ignoranza (nel senso che ignorano) i parrocchiani e il parroco stesso?
Il secondo episodio è ancora più significativo. Sempre nello stesso periodo un collega di Asolo , località sotto la giurisdizione della diocesi di Treviso, aveva mandato una circolare ai suoi docenti con cui spiegava le nuove regole, tra cui la raccomandazione di evitare le preghiere prima delle lezioni. I genitori, non preparati, sono insorti mandando lettere ai giornali.
Beh Lei non ci crederà ma il collega, che aveva solo fatto il suo dovere, è STATO DIFESO PUBBLICAMENTE DAL VICARIO DIOCESANO DI TREVISO , che ha spiegato ai genitori come stavano correttamente le cose. Il Provveditore agli studi, da pusillanime, se ne era stato zitto e aveva permesso che il collega venisse svillaneggiato!
Eminenza perché , Lei che sa, non fa sentire la Sua voce?
Ah dimenticavo, il Vescovo di V.Veneto di quel tempo e quello di Treviso di ora, in occasione della gazzarra successa per il presepe, hanno raccomandato entrambi ai genitori degli alunni di lasciare che la scuola faccia il suo lavoro per cui è deputata e di considerare le famiglie le responsabili dell’educazione alla “ fede“ dei propri figli .
Io credo che nessuno abbia il potere di de-potenziare la LAICITA’ della scuola, che deriva da quella dello Stato, che a sua volta deriva dalla Costituzione, nè il Ministro con strumenti amministrativi (ricordo a suo tempo Misasi che con quella “nota “ strumentalmente usata da chi voleva forzare la situazione, faceva riferimento alla decisione del Consiglio di Circolo, assumendosi in quel modo un potere che non aveva, come ha ben dimostrato le sentenza del T.A.R.: Emilia Romagna, Sentenza n°.250,17 giugno 1993) nè i vari direttori Regionali, che magari si affannano a dimostrarsi più sudditi delle gerarchie ecclesiastiche che delle Leggi dello Stato.
Un’ultima cosa, Eminenza, perché lascia credere che la decisione di non permettere atti di culto dipenda dal fatto che ci possono essere studenti di fede islamica? Questo non è vero come ho cercato di spiegare, se Lei lascia circolare queste voci (messe in giro da giornalisti “ ignoranti “e spesso faziosi, pronti a cavalcare qualsiasi indizio di conflitto ), non solo avalla delle falsità ma legittima chi fomenta scontri di civiltà. Lei non è d’accordo su questa ipotesi , vero?
Non sarebbe meglio che invece di puntare sul POTERE , cercando di marcare il territorio, Lei e le altre autorità ecclesiastiche puntaste sulla POTENZA delle idee( e il Cristianesimo è ricchissimo di idee feconde) per aiutare la scuola a far crescere i nostri giovani nella forza della MENTE e del CUORE, che in questi tempi sta dimostrando la sua carenza.?
