Io credo che alcuni dei conflitti di tipo politico- religioso, o di tipo più squisitamente politico-gossiparo, oppure scaturenti da contrapposizione tra schieramenti politici , caratterizzati oggi da alcuni rigurgiti volgari e chiaramente esorbitanti dalla comune modalità di un dialogo civile, anche se acceso, siano tutte situazioni che continuano ad avvitarsi su se stesse perchè è venuta a mancare l’etica del limite.
L’etica del limite nel senso sia dell’autocontenimento ma anche della categoria dei confini.
Il neonato evolve verso il riconoscimento di sé nella misura in cui impara a separarsi dalla madre. Nella misura in cui , attraverso un processo di separazione-individuazione, comincia a percepire se stesso ed i suoi confini, che all’inizio saranno solo corporei, poi un po’ alla volta saranno sempre più riconducibili al sé vero e proprio, tale perché diverso dall’altro da sé.
Tutte le relazioni interpersonali dovranno poi, pena il rischio della simbiosi, deleteria e minacciosa per il sè, essere contraddistinte da questi famosi confini tra sé e l’altro. Confini che non dovranno essere impermeabili o troppo rigidi altrimenti è in agguato una qualche forma di autismo o l’indifferenza verso l’altro oppure, speciale malattia dei nostri tempi , il narcisismo patologico. Mi riferisco al sé grandioso che si autoesalta e perde di vista non solo l’altro ma anche la realtà .(come sta accadendo a livello apicale della politica…). Siamo di fronte pur sempre ad un problema di mancanza di confini o di assenza di limiti. Questo per quanto attiene l’aspetto soggettivo, individuale.
Accennavo prima all' autocontenimento, mi riferisco a quello mentale. Per esempio anche l’adolescente che non rileva i limiti della sua trasgressione, (quale trasgressione può essere accettabile quale invece va oltre i limiti) non è in grado di attivare un autocontenimento mentale il più delle volte perché i genitori a loro volta non lo hanno contenuto mentalmente quando, nella fase dell’opposizione (dai 18 mesi in poi) sono andati loro in tilt, incapaci di offrire un solido e valido contenimento mentale alla rabbia del piccolo…. Temono il conflitto con un bambino di meno di due anni… I protagonisti dei conflitti alla ribalta oggi sono però tutti adulti, vaccinati e responsabili più della gente comune perché quasi sempre ricoprono cariche pubbliche.
Il problema è anche quello che osserviamo nello scenario della politica dove le gerarchie ecclesiastiche esorbitano dai loro confini, non con messaggi spirituali, sempre ben accetti, ma come ingerenza vera e propria, condizionando le decisioni politico-civili, forzando le scelte attraverso lo spauracchio della sottrazione del consenso , (problema questo, ahimè, che denota un tasto debole oggi della democrazia), e scendendo in campo invadendo i confini dettati dalle norme concordatarie che regolano l’espressione della religione nelle istituzioni pubbliche.
Mi riferisco soprattutto alla scuola e alle polemiche sull’ora di religione, sui crocifissi, sulle funzioni religiose e benedizioni in orario scolastico, ecc.
La via che si segue è quella della strumentalizzazione del senso comune della gente che può non sapere che la Costituzione ha trasformato uno stato confessionale in una Repubblica democratica laica- e la Scuola è una istituzione della Repubblica- che può non sapere che la revisione del Concordato tra Stato e Chiesa ha rivisto le norme che regolano la religione e scuola, che può non sapere quali sono i confini tra religioso e culturale , tra sacro e non sacro, tra tradizione e consuetudine, tra innovazione e cambiamento.
C’è però chi questa distinzione la conosce e sono i soggetti che ricoprono una carica pubblica (altrimenti chi ha permesso loro di accedere a ricoprirla?) e se queste persone non intervengono a spiegare ai portatori di "senso comune " -che non sono tenute ad avere le idee chiare, ma hanno il diritto ad avere qualcuno che gliele chiarisca- quale confine esista tra i termini del problema, significa che manca l’etica pubblica in generale, in questo caso l’etica del limite.che dovrebbe impedire che si strombazzino tali macroscopiche falsità, ( Mario Pirani parla della "Perdita della verità") che si sobilli impunemente la gente, che si permetta anzi si faccia in modo che questa rimanga nell’ignoranza (nel senso dell’ignorare) pur di cavalcare umori discutibili, che si attivino trasmissioni televisive nell’orario di maggiore ascolto, come il primo pomeriggio della domenica (sia tv pubblica che privata…) invitando i più sciamannati (incrocio tra sciamano e scalmanato…!) che in questo momento si rendono disponibili a parlare (pardon ad urlare) a favore del crocifisso con un pubblico che altrettanto accompagna il tutto con un tifo da stadio .

La questione che ancora qualche sindaco leghista sta cavalcando, nell’ignoranza generale purtroppo, anzi nell’indifferenza generale, è quella del crocefisso.
Non si ascoltano i teologi che si affannano a spiegare che il crocifisso non può essere definito semplice simbolo culturale ma che per la religione cristiana (la croce) e per la religione cattolica (il Cristo in croce) non sono solo simbolo religioso ma la quintessenza delle religioni cristiane.

Il problema è proprio questo : che pur di "marcare" il territorio, pur di farne una questione di potere (anche qui varcare i confini per affermare se stessi attraverso un simbolo usato spesso come una vera e propria clava) molti sono disponibili a declassare il crocifisso a simbolo culturale o peggio ad annoverarlo tra gli arredi oppure ad affermare "c’è sempre stato , che male c’è "svalutando talmente la sua presenza tanto da non farlo emergere dallo sfondo: geroglifico sul muro ormai dimenticato.
Mi chiedo se chi crede veramente sia così disponibile a tollerare tutta questa pesante strumentalizzazione in nome del crocifisso, senza sentirsi dolorosamente un po’ ferito come quell’uomo in croce?
